Same issue for me… and its not great for those riders not as strong who are now just being dropped and left to ride on their own… its lost the lovely social element it had… please fixed it soon Zwift

Tomorrow morning I have another workout meetup planned and I really hope some of the riders will be close together. It is no fun for anyone when they get left behind and very discouraging to say the least. We need a fix for this asap.

We did a group ride tonight and its not fixed… really annoying Zwift… and its really discouraging for some riders… 8 of us might as we have just been riding on our own… this glitch has taken the group fun out! not impressed

This is a mental health issue as it can really hurt people feelings (mine specifically) because there are some group riders who simply can’t keep up with other riders.

Did a meetup tonight for our youth cycling club. 14 young riders pretty much instantly scattered along the course. No rubber band - second time this week our group ride has been adversely affected like this. A fix to this is would be greatly appreciated.

Me too. Wattage all over the place as well,very distracting.

Wattage is a mess. Shut down reconnect reboot everything. I can’t get over 100 watts my group is prob 20k ahead of me now and several others

Same here. Lasted 30mins in last workout but that is the last until this is fixed. Zwift very quiet on the fix.

Hi, Is there any update on when the “drunk” avatar issue will be fixed. This is stopping people using zwift.

In my case, same issue, but I noticed that when you are riding with the group and the group is reached by a faster rider (out of the group), for some reason some of group riders are drafted behind the faster rider. By the other hand, if the group reach some slower rider (out of the group) some of group riders keep engaged with the slower rider causing that group broke!

I initially raised a ticket yesterday and was told it was a known issue but just referred to this forum.
I have just contacted Zwift on Facebook and they don’t have a timeline on the fix…not sure that side of support were aware of the issue…so I think the more people who raise and chase this the better chance of getting some traction and action 
.

Hi,
This is a real fumble on the part of the whole Zwift development team especially given the times we are living in. There are folks who have signed up to Zwift solely for the purpose of substituting their normal outdoor club rides with organised meetups. People have taken the time to buy equipment and learn the platform. The keep together function has allowed bigger groups to enjoy the virtual experience together and these new subscribers to gain value from the service.
Perhaps it’s time to consider rollback possibilities, check back in former ‘working’ code and or better change control to your ‘agile’ forward only development environment philosophy.
It might also be time to consider refunds to customers who recently signed up and now find they have purchased a devalued product.
I also strongly suggest you publish a method for your subscribers i.e. customers to track the major bugs and not rely on informal forum posts; timely accurate communication should be a priority during incidents like this.

Yeah, it hasn’t been fixed yet. The first indication that it will have been fixed is if there is another update available when you start up Zwift (on windows 10 and Mac). If on iOS or Android, it will take longer to get the update due to the approval process.
2nd, check back to this thread, Zwift will post if and when a fix is available. No need to continue posting that it is still broken.

Everyone - we’ve been working on this bug. It didn’t make it into the hot fix that released this week.
Once it passes testing, we’ll get it in an update as soon as we can.

I have to cancel my 64th Birthday (6/19) Alp ride. Without the banding, even with my dedicated friends who are so much stronger than me, I would never make it. I’ve had multiple leg & foot surgeries as well as a pending joint replacement once this virus has calmed down so pushing my limits is very limited.
I’ve worked very hard to bring riders of different levels together for a good time during isolation & stress. The lack of banding is tearing us apart. front group finished 5 miles ahead of the middle group and 7 miles ahead of the last group.
NO THAT DOES NOT MKE IT A FUN RIDE FOR ANYONE!!!

I noticed in the last week or so on my last three rides that the feature to keep riders together is no longer working. Was working fine until a week or so ago.
