Hi @Hugh_Brand, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
To check your Tour de Zwift progress, In-game: Just open Zwift and tap the TdZ card on your homescreen.
Every Zwift event (including Tour de Zwift stages) has its own unique event page.
When you open the event in the Zwift Companion app or on the web, the URL looks like this:
https://www.zwift.com/events/view/5292051
If you’re registered on ZwiftPower, you can use the event ID to find the event results and see your finishing position compared to others.
If you want a deeper dive, Zwift Insider’s got a great breakdown of: All About Tour de Zwift 2026.
Thanks for posting.
Ride On.
Only the races offer finishing positions in the Companion app. The group ride events do not. Group rides will show up on ZwiftPower, but you need to know that those results do not include all riders - only people who have registered on ZwiftPower.
Welcome to the Zwift Forums. A great facility for getting the right answers, from others, but not always easy to find.
Another great site for information is ZwiftInsider.
If you are new use the ZwiftInsider site to check out how to use the Zwift Companion App and also how to register with ZwiftPower. Both these free ‘facilities’ give you good numerical information on your rides.
You can also find information on Zwift support pages but often you need to know where to start looking.
Anyway back to your question, group ride position.
If you log in to Zwift | The Indoor Cycling App for Smart Trainers & Bikes you should be able to find “My Feed”. On there you can find details of your ride and there might be screenshots which the system takes automatically and saves the first three. [Use ZwiftInsider to find out more about screenshots]
If you download and use the Zwift Companion App that will also show you your ride information and ride position.
There is lots of good free information out there and plenty of reading to get the very most out of Zwift.
Not sure if you use Facebook but Facebook Zwift Beginners is a good place to learn about Zwift.

If this morning was your first group ride well done. These Tour de Zwift group rides get a little spicy. There are many beginner group rides out there that welcome new riders and ride at a more sedate pace keeping most of the group together.
