So did the ToL stage 2 this morning, and it was quite packed. But Im curious about the reality of what Im seeing…clearly Zwift isnt displaying all of the riders, but do we have actual #'s as far as how many people it generates?

And how does this affect what ‘group’ Im in (for example, am I fighting to stick with a group of riders when in reality there are ‘invisible’ riders all around me that I just dont see? Or does Zwift make sure to generate/show riders in close proximity and cut off the ones far ahead and behind?

My understanding is that the number of current riders reported below the riders list is the actual number of riders logged into the Zwift servers, but you will only ever SEE the the closest 100 in-game.
