I went with the Legion T530 28 in the end, cost £650 (with discounts) with the Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti
Good all rounder PC with the added bonus of smooth Zwifting.

Will this be okay to run Zwift in 8k? URL: https://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Intel-Z490-Prime-Core/W/1144127
Does Zwift support 8K or are you future proofing/other uses? If the RTX 3090 will not support 8K (I do not know…) not much else is going to…maybe those high $$ workstation cards.
Sorry, that was slightly in jest. I believe 8k is pointless unless you have a screen bigger than 85 inches. Also while I would love a future resistant machine, my credit card and my wife do not approve of a $5,500 Zwifting device. I’m be eyeing a black friday deal for a machine that can run Zwift in ultra and keep a reasonable FPS when I’m in bigger group rides and races
If by reasonable you mean 60fps, you’d need the CPU from that machine you linked. The resolution and detail is easy.
Thanks Dave. I am now working thru how to build a PC to run Zwift in 4K on a new 43" TCL TV.
