Introducing Zwift Companion Fitness Tracker [April 2025]

I found the answer in another topic
for outdoor rides to show up – disconnect Wahoo / Garmin sync and reconnect.
and it works, also for the past
case solved :slightly_smiling_face:

fyi : see topic [Introducing Zwift Companion Fitness Tracker [April 2025]]

That’s not correct. My rides from last weekend showed up, as did ones prior to that.

Overheard on Reddit: “We backfill activities but shouldn’t be retroactively granting XP for historical outdoor rides.”

DC Rainmaker said in his video it will go back 90 days and grab any outdoor rides. That was the only place I heard this mentioned.

can’t remember where i saw it but sure it was Garmin and Wahoo one was 30 days other 90 days back.

and as Paul says you don’t get xp for past activities.

I’ve linked my Komoot to Wahoo, and have as such populated all outdoor rides in my Wahoo feed. I’ve also linked Wahoo to Zwift, and all indoor rides also populate to the Wahoo feed, but the outdoor rides are not being read back into Zwift. Is there a difference between these databases? I’m not Wahoo X, just a Whaoo Fitness account. I don’t run Wahoo or Garmin head-units on any of my bikes…

Anyone found a viable workaround? Tapiiriik?

I don’t suppose outdoor riding contributes toward any challenges – eg. the new Factory Tour challenge relies on power units, so in theory it could be compatible with garmin data (assuming a power meter is used outdoors)?

Oh? I think having a rodent hanging from one’s jersey just looks weird even by Zwift standards.

Isn’t the point of “streak” to have no interruptions? If I get injured and cannot ride for a week, then the streak should be lost as it happens in any other app or challenge. Why are we adding means for everyone to keep their streaks forever even if they break it? It feels like cheating.

Or will there be a way to for us to not use the “streak saver” and start from 0 if I break it?

Similar for collecting XP for outdoor rides. I would understand to count outdoor rides to keep the riding streak, but why should I be credited XP towards Zwift Level for not riding on Zwift? Luckily, I can simply turn this off by not connecting to Garmin.

This really is Minimum Viable Product stage as usual. I tapped on today’s bar in the weekly tracker expecting it would take me to the activities I did today, but it did nothing.

I would have preferred to see my stats on the my stats page, when I click on my name in the menu.

Apologize if I just missed it, but I am curious about the inclusion of outdoor activities recorded on a Garmin. I went into my GC app and disabled the connection to Zwift and re-enabled it after closing out. It had me do a new login and all at that time, so all good. I also disabled the GC and Zwift connection from the Zwift settings and re-enabled it. That was a few hours ago. In looking in Zwift at my activities (both on the phone in the Companion app and on Zwift online) and I am not seeing anything from my past activities. I am looking under the “just me” tab when trying to view activites. I had a ride this last weekend that I was expecting to see. Am I looking in the wrong spot? Does it take longer for the activities to get re-indexed? Am I correct that I should be seeing past recent activities? Thanks for any help.

Doesn’t Intervals already provide this with more metrics and less confusion?

Hello @Berto

We’re currently looking into your issue and can see that you’ve attempted to synchronize four times. However, our system hasn’t detected any activity from Garmin.

  • Question 1: How many outdoor rides have you recorded on your Garmin computer since you refreshed your connection to Garmin?
  • Question 2: Were the activities uploaded directly to Garmin, or did you use a third-party service to upload them?

How is an indoor ride on a wheel-on trainer, recorded to a garmin using a speed sensor on the wheel, distinguished from an outdoor ride?

Hi, last outdoor has been on April 5th. But also the one made on March 30 Is missing. Actually, I don’t see any. I upload directly from Garmin, not third parties. I use also Strava.
Thanks
