Introducing Zwift Companion Fitness Tracker [April 2025]

Nope, I just have a knack for overstating the obvious

Another issue, why the light-mode only? Please bring back dark mode.

I connected Wahoo today, and it looks like the data shows up, it’s of course missing my activities recorded on my apple watch, and directly from the phone which are uploaded to strava but not uploaded using Wahoo, so it misses a lot of activities for me personally.

That said I just torched my apple watch in a hot spring, so I guess I won’t be uploaded anymore from apple watch!

For me it shows I only have a Zwift streak of 2 weeks even though I have outdoor Wahoo based activities for the weeks I was not able to use Zwift (3 and 4 weeks ago), so it seems at least for me the outdoor activities from 3+ weeks ago didn’t extend my streak as part of this initial import.

Yes, and be able to set goals to none instead of being forced to have one now.

That’s expected. This was posted above.

You should not get XP, but they did say it might extend your streak.

Ah, yes.
Good point.

Still not seeing Zwift in the list of authorised apps on my Elemnt app

You wont, you need to use the zwift companion app, under settings and then connections. You link to Wahoo there, not in the element app.

It looks like the latest update automatically set a time goal for me. I don’t want any goals. I need another app setting goals for me like a need another hole in my head. How do I delete it?

Mike, thanks for the quick response. Does that mean that there is nothing required to be set on the Wahoo side of the connection and only authorisation required is on the Zwift Companion app?

Yes, pretty much this please.

Wasn’t outside rides implemented this week??
How can you get credit for something that didn’t exist 3 & 4 weeks ago?

Correct, the connection flow initiated via Zwift Companion or Zwift.com actually forwards to Wahoo or Garmin for toggling the permissions and then back to Zwift. No additional steps are required.

Same here.
I don’t want to set a goal in Zwift.
I don’t want to SEE a goal in Zwift.

This times one million. How many more training apps does a person need? I just want to get rid of the Fitness Tracking and Goal Setting part of Zwift.

@Ryy please tell us that you’re seeing the feedback that many do not want the fitness tracker feature forced on them and that ZHQ is working on something like a week-lookahead schedule for events and planned workouts for those users

Just in case ZHQ is keeping a tally of folks who would like to opt out of this feature, please add me to that list!

If you all decide to not allow us to turn off the fitness tracking graphics, at the very least please let us opt out of goal setting.

I agree. It seems that my outdoor or off Zwift rides show up on my screen but do not get shown in the activity feed, thus losing the opportunity for sharing with others. The social aspect of Zwift is a significant part. You just added 1/3 placement to my screen for information that I go elsewhere for with the only benefit is if a rider is concerned about the “game” part of Zwift. Adding noise to my screen is frankly counterproductive. There should be a way to toggle what a user doesn’t want to see off.

I’m not sure why you are on Zwift, but I’m guessing it has something to do with fitness. Looks like you could switch goal to calories. Lowest setting is 300. That should be easy enough for anyone to do. Just a thought
