I sent in a support request and got this gem in a reply:
Open the weekly goal and then âplease try to press cancel it instead of update it, basically the same method as creating it in the companion app and deleting it.â
I had of course tried this multiple times before, tried it again before replying to Zwiftâs support; they have no clue how this is supposed to work.
In general support for most products have a script they use for the main support tickets. When a new release adds a new feature the support team is not always the first to understand the new features, and how they affect the current scripts, so they probably have an understanding of the old weekly goals feature ahead of this release, and itâs not that surprising.
Your question was answered above.. There is not currently a way to remove it as far as we know. So support is not going to be able to help you until Zwift makes a change to the behavior. If they responded back saying âNo there is no way to do thisâ they would be correct, and you would be in the same spot.
I donât use a Garmin or Wahoo device, but I do track activities in the Wahoo app. Can those activities show up in the Fitness Tracker? (I did an outdoor ride last week, and it didnât work. My Zwift and Wahoo accounts werenât linked before, so I had only just connected them for the first time right before the ride.)
Yeah, well, Zwiftâs support asked me for a screen recording. I would have thought when I told them that there was a new feature in Zwift (I named the feature and detailed the location) and that their old instructions didnât work anymore (I linked the page) that they would be able to pull up the app and take a look.
The fitness tracker is still not aligned with the work / activities im doing. I donât know if the date setting are slightly out. Weds 09/04 I did an outside ride, tracker has it as rest day, Thursday I rested it has the Wednesday ride, Friday I rode outside has it as rest day, Saturday I rode on Zwift has my outside ride there and Sunday I rode outside and it tracked it correctly
I have to refresh my companion app or reload it entirely for it to show things correctly sometimes.
Could be worse; since mine is doubling my rides up for an inexcusable reason and also not listing my outdoor rides with the tag for some absurd reasonâŚ
It thinks I rode 26 hours last week and is saying I am âfreshâ yeah okay
Itâs certainly a slightly buggy release; which I guess is to be expected given such a unique direction away from in-game stuff.
It is nice to see daily power bars like this, but I feel like it deserves its own page entirely on Companion, along with our fitness metrics that match what show on the Zwift website among others, for example.
Do we know if Zwift uses HR data from outdoor rides to add to training score and calculate freshness? Intervals.icu does add âtraining loadâ based on HR - so that factors into your âForm/Fitnessâ on intervals, but when I did an outdoor ride yesterday (on Heart Rate, but not Power) my training score went down, and I went from âproductiveâ to âfreshâ.
This is fantastic and a welcome addition. One thing I did notice was wen I synced my Garmin and Zwift it downloaded double rides from last few weeks as I generally have my Garmin and Zwift running at the same time when riding the trainer ( i like to test different PMs and such). My question is will there be an editable platform at some point? For example, I can delete unwanted rides from other training platforms to ensure it doesnât skew my training metrics and think Iâm riding twice a much as I actually am.
