Is there a staggered release? I am running iOS 15.8.3 and the app shows no available updates.
The rollout of the update to iOS and Apple TV hasn’t started yet. That’ll start later on Wednesday.
Yes it has been a staggered release for a long time now, well over a year I think.
Hi @Steven_Olechny! Welcome to the forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Thanks for hanging up there!
I’d like to share an article regarding Apple security releases to help everyone stay informed about new updates for iOS, macOS, Apple TV, and iPadOS. This article is similar to one we currently have in the thread.
As of now, the latest version of iOS is 18.3.2. I noticed that your last logged device is an iPad running iOS 15.8.3. The most recent update available for iPads is iPadOS 18.3.2, This update is compatible with the following models:
- iPad Pro 13-inch
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later)
- iPad Air (3rd generation and later) -
- iPad (7th generation and later)
- iPad mini (5th generation and later) Source: Apple.
Francisco, does this mean that i can’t take advantage of the new game features or bike updates without purchasing new hardware? I can’t install iOS 18. Would Apple TV work?
No, Zwift is supported on iOS 13 and upwards. So you just need to wait for your device to receive the Zwift update. No need to buy a new device.
Sadly that advice is irrelevant to your problem. Most likely you have not been given the update yet and just need to wait. You can check your game version to confirm you haven’t received 1.86 yet.
Will the update eventually be cascaded down to lower levels of iOS? My device can’t be upgraded to a higher iOS. Thanks.
Paul and Steve’s answers are the ones you’re after.
Your iPad should get the update soon.
