I’m running a Zwift Hub trainer through my laptop for Zwift. Never had an issue. Now my Garmin HRM-Dual strap & Fenix 7 watch are giving false readings (they worked up until about a month ago). I’ve cleaned the strap changed the battery, still no good. So I paired my watch same issue. It either gets stuck at it’s first reading say 80bpm…or reads really high 170-180bpm in Zone 2. Both the strap connected to my Edge 830 & Fenix 7 work fine outside, it is only when connecting to Zwift/trainer?? Is there a solution?
How are you trying to connect them to your laptop (ANT+ or BLE)? And have you, by chance, moved anything into your trainer area that might cause interference?
BLE. I’m thinking of getting an ANT+ dongle for the laptop, if it’ll solve the problem. Nothing has changed in or around my set up. I was wondering if it was a software update on my laptop or by Zwift?
Welcome to the forums! Jose here from Zwift.
I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with your HRM.
After reviewing your account, I noticed several BLE disconnection issues with your HRM. It seems that the HRM is already connected to a different device.
No need to worry, I will provide you with a few steps to resolve this matter so you can start your journey. Please follow the steps in this article.
On the other hand, I see that you are running the latest game version 1.82.0 which is great.
