How to use ChromeCast on Apple Mac playing Zwift

Has anyone successfully gotten to use ChromeCast and a Mac to broadcast Zwift on the TV?  It seems that ChromeCast only works with specific Apps, like YouTube, etc.

I highly doubt that Zwift will ever support ChromeCast.

I’ve tried it. You need to use Google Chrome as your browser, share the screen - using the beta option - and then select the Zwift window to share.

I found the frame rate to be very low and almost unwatchable so ended up going back to carrying my laptop into my training room each time I wanted to train.

I’m using the Chromecast v1. It could work using v2 and an ethernet adapter, but I’ll let others try that.

Thanks.  I returned the ChromeCast and purchased an AppleTV.  Frame rate is a little slower than computer.
