How to add Club Jersey on Zwift

Hi all/Zwift -

Is and what is the process to add my cl’s jersey to Zwift?

Thanks

You need to be a huge club if you want your jersey in the game, good luck….

You cannot, unless you have huge amounts of active users, lots of club evebts, etc.

Plenty of the club kits currently in Zwift would not be there if held to the standards of today. I will dig out the email I got from Zwift:

I’m reaching out because your club is on our waitlist for in-game kit creation. We know that this wait has been long for many clubs, and there has not been any promise of an expected timeline. Due to the volume of requests we receive for kits, we are not able to accommodate them all, so we have established a process we will be using to determine the allocation of kits going forward. Each request will be evaluated and considered by our team, but minimum standards for consideration include:

  • Having a Zwift club with 250 members or more
  • A high rate of engagement on Zwift by club members over an extended period of time

At this time, we have determined that your club does not meet these criteria.

If you want to grow your club membership, here are some tips and recommendations.

  • Host regular events in your club and promote them on your club’s and/or personal social media channels.
  • Select the setting “anyone with link can join” which opens up the event to Zwifters from outside your club
  • Share the link in Zwift Riders or Zwift Racers Facebook pages
  • Add a title and description to the event that will make it clear to other Zwifters what they can expect from the event
  • Make sure that group rides you are opening up to non-club members are engaging by having a ride leader and/or Discord set up for a social chat

We invite you to contact us with a new request for your club when you have fulfilled the minimum requirements, and we will happily reevaluate your request.

That was what I was told. The club I was doing this for isn’t one you can just join, you have to be admitted into it. I just left it alone and majority of the club members also abandoned Zwift and continued to focus on real life cycling events instead.

You will receive an email if you fit their requirements; Chris’ post shares basically the current requirements.

They’ve opened it up to be much easier than previously just this summer; but those bullet points are it.

Thanks, much appreciated!

Just out of curiosity, reading Chris’s post.. why? It’s not like (right?) there are subscription fees to join a club.

That’s an old rule they had, it was that way before I joined.

Probably about getting the right group of people in the club and who are active in IRL events. It’s a nice bunch of easy going folks and completely without the fights and squabbles I’ve seen in some other clubs.

how long was that?
