how to connect my Apple Watch to my Zwift app on my iPad for cycling so I can see my heart rate. Could someone explain it to me step by step? When running, I see my Apple Watch, but it doesn’t show my heart rate. When cycling, I can’t find my Watch at all.
I recommend that you do not use the Apple Watch with Zwift. They withdrew support for it because the integration is unreliable, so if you want minimum frustration, buy a heart rate monitor.
You could also try using the Heartcast app with the watch, but a normal HRM is easier. An optical arm band is most convenient, and a chest strap would be most accurate.
Heartcast works well on the Apple Watch…at least for me. Seems to be more reliable (connect-wise) than my expensive Garmin chest strap. All the chest straps I have purchased over the last few years start having issues after 6 months…Garmin, Polar, Cospo, etc… Makes me wish for the Timex straps from 25 years ago…much more reliable.
Echo works very well too, im using it for about 2 years now. No need to buy a chest strap.
