Zwift installed on Win 11 PC laptop. Smart trainer is a Wahoo Kicker SNAP. Zwift connects via Blue Tooth to the SNAP for Power and Resistance. Wahoo Cadence Sensor connects to the PC via Blue Tooth. Wahoo Ticker X Heart Rate Monitor connects to PC via Blue Tooth. All connections are good and I am able to enter the ‘game’ and ride, as expected.
Using an iPhone SE (2nd Gen), I have installed the Zwift Companion App (ZCA). I am able to load the ZCA map and follow along during my ride.
Apple Health App is installed on the same iPhone SE (2nd Gen). Data from Zwift DOES NOT transfer to the Apple Health App. (Yes, we are on the same wifi).
I do have the Wahoo App. I DO NOT open or use the app during the Zwift session. However, I do see that Zwift data for the ride does transfer to the Wahoo App.
Using an HDMI cable, I am able to connect my laptop to a 42" television for a bigger picture, when desired.
The ZCA does NOT always save the ride. Some ‘testing’ rides are less than 2 miles. It does seem to save rides over 5 miles. Is there a ‘minimum ride distance’ before saving a ride? Also, the ZCA does not transfer any data to Apple Health.
No data ever transfers to Apple Health when I use Zwift on PC. IF I run Zwift from the iPhone, data will transfer to Apple Health.
To summarize, I can do the ride in Zwift. Numbers move, resistance is felt going up hills, resistance fades going down hill. I change gears on the bike as if I was cycling outdoors in the real world. I can monitor my cadence, speed, heart rate, and power information. Everything seems to successfully connect and do what is expected until I end the ride. I save the ride using the Zwift Menu. I exit Zwift by clicking the Exit Door in the upper right hand corner. Then, I exit the ZCA on my phone. After a few minutes, I can usually see, not always, the results of the ride on my ZCA. I check Apple Health and nothing has transferred.
Confused and frustrated going around in circles to connect things so they will function as expected. Support or advice on the Forums appears to be so outdated that solutions do not seem to apply to today.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks … Harry
