Half Marathon Run workout?

Maybe I’m doing it wrong but I just press run and when the distance hits say… 32km I press stop and go home. Only used in game goals for shorter runs like 5 or 10km, great for a lunch break to keep me on time.

You can add add a target at the beginning of the run, but the maximum distance for that (using my laptop) is 30km.
I’m in training for a 50k later in the year so need to go further than 30km.
The complaint is that there are workouts that included a marathon and half marathon - with warmups, distance arch indicators etc but you have to enroll for the whole training plan - you can’t just run the half marathon or marathon.
And also that runners don’t get the workout builder to make your own.

Thank you for your feedback on the run workouts. HQ is aware that the run side of our platform still needs to fleshed out more fully. Even though it looks fairly complete, Zwift Run is technically a beta product - which is why there is no cost to run in Zwift.

Thank you @shooj - if there’s any opportunity for Beta testing for running, I would love to be involved. I want Zwift to be as good as possibly can be. x

Ive literally completed the 13.1 workout plan this weekend, the half marathon workout was just 21.1km at your race pace, there were no warm up or cool down segments in the workout, so if your just doing the half marathon I would just free run the distance.

Thank you for that, When we get the workout builder I’ll look forward to creating something better.

Try this-- it’s a Zwift RUNNING workout generator. The thread is here…
Running Workout Generator
The website link is here:
Open Source Treadmill.

You’ll need a PC and the ability to copy/paste a /zwo file, but this method works for us.

It’s mighty impressive - but still not quite what I require - I need to run for time, not for distance. My current training schedule has “Run for an hour” etc.
But thank you.

That’s probably the most common comment I’m getting…
Indeed, that’s the number one reason I created this…
Interval times and total times are displayed. As long as your paces match the race times in Zwift, you can get whatever time you require. You accomplish this by setting your “Power” and pace and dial-in the distance until the time(s) is/are correct.

…For what’s it worth.

Thank you - I applaud your efforts. Please keep it going.

We can create text events at a time-offset into an interval.

So, after exactly 10 minutes the text would say “RUNNNNNNN”
And, after 2 more minutes, the text would say “WALLLLLK!”
etc…
You could then (possibly) use the “Fast Forward >>”
button in-the game to skip to the next interval.

It’s a kludge, but it would work.
But… so would a stopwatch, or Alexa or even the Googles

@Emma_Murrie That was all 29/27/25 days ago; did you run the half marathon? How did it go?

Slow and steady - not my fastest ever time but not my slowest. Thank you for asking!
