The phased rollout is random. It is determined by the machine ID.
It’s a new build of the same version.
You should probably contact support. But if you have an ANT+ dongle in your system, remove it and try again.
Exactly! That they haven’t included an On/Off option for that ridiculous pop-down is astounding!
Does it include an On/Off option for that AWFUL pop-down climb profile right in the middle of the screen? Because THAT is a critical issue!
Yeah, yet another instance of Zwift not understanding the word “customizable” when they use it! A sensible developer would allow you to select an option such as “Do Not Use” (or similar wording) for any of the 4 items, and would then have the option of “Retain Size” or “Scale Up” (or similar wording) so that for people using less than 4 they could choose to have one or more of the ones they are using presented larger in the available space. So 3 fields in use you could have 1 Large and 2 Normal, or 2 fields in use you could have 2 Normal or 2 Large etc. depending on if you’d set to Retain/Default.
Functionally the HUD works, but by god the climb portal looks awful, how does that get past any UX or design people.
Add it to the Zwift.com profile & activity summary pages as poor user experiences.
There is someone proposing that look and many people agreeing that’s the way we want it, it doesnt just end up planted across the middle of the screen like that.
my general request would be the ability to just turn on/off certain features of the HUD that some people may or may not think is important. much like you can already do with the power graph by pressing “G” on pc
or make them resizable, like the menu fonts
Pretty much everyone agrees, and it is something users have been asking Zwift for ever since they introduced the On/Off option for the entire HUD. It incomprehensible how they’ve not added that basic option of an On/Off for each element of the UHD.
my irl garmin has like 3 fields: current power, current speed, and elapsed time. well 4 since i have the time of day on it too, but less is more for me
They already showed total disregard for people with large screens by eliminating home screen scaling, apparently there’s no concern for people with small screens either.
It’s remarkable, it truly seems that not a single person working at ZHQ actually uses Zwift.
I would gladly volunteer to be a tester if Zwift ever needs people.
I got news for you, Sunshine - you already are a tester for Zwift.
His name is Robert Paulson.
Haha thanks for calling me Sunshine since I’m more like old man winter.
I think you are right, we are the testers.
Everyone please note. We will release game version 1.73 to Apple TV as soon as Apple review is complete.
That’s not how Semantic versioning works though. It’s a patch of a critical defect, it should increment the version by the patch. Major.minor.patch
Love the new HUD and the colored roads Now, put a switch to hide the Zwifters Nearby thing and that would make me very happy.
Indeed. Now that the upper left has an effort bar graph (even it it’s smaller and not super granular), I don’t need the bar graph at the bottom, so let me replace that with the dynamic elevation profile. You could then leave it up all the time and I’d be fine with it.
