@shooj just did a race tonight on the Sleepless City course, and it did not finish after 2 laps (it in fact finished after 3). However, the completion gauge was full, indicating that the race should have been over. This was for the Kiwi Crew Riot Race (event id 4498543). Companion app, etc. showed the correct distance of ~19km and number of laps (2) for the event.
Over half-way done, correct distance remaining showing:
OK, I was wondering about that and I remember reading that, but honestly it’s kind of silly. I only do races for unlocks, I never do them otherwise.
Why does it do it for distance sometimes? Especially noticeable running… Like if I run a half marathon with ZLDR on some routes, it drops the 21.1 and it will roll back to 20.9. If you’re not paying attention, and end the activity = no half marathon credit on Strava. That was happening well before this gun time versus chip time change.
Also, just to bring it up again for like the fifth version in a row even though it has been like this forever…
During cycling workouts, ERG Mode sucks going down hill.
I did not see dropouts but I could not pair my Polar H10 strap to Zwift on Android today after many tries. Kickr Core and Zwift Play connected just fine. This did not happen once in the past many years
I mentioned it in chat in a race as it would DQ me on ZP and another guy responded that he has the same problem. He was on iOS. He also got DQ.
@Martin_Skapa
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I looked through your server logs and none of the common issues seems to apply in your case, meaning it appears you’re doing everything right.
This sounds odd that only the HRM had pairing issues and not the other Bluetooth signals. Usually I’d recommend you change the battery to eliminate that as a suspect, but I noticed that on Polar’s Support page for the H10 - they call out a firmware update 3.2.0 specifically to fix some issue with Android 13 devices like your Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd gen tablet.
You may want to check which version of firmware is installed on your HRM and update to 3.2.0 or the latest version 3.3.1 using the Polar Beat or Polar Flow app.
While you’re at it, you may want to see if Lenovo has a newer Android update for your tablet - it’s possible that there isn’t one.
Thanks for the tip . My H10 had version v3.1.1 and kept repeating to me that there is no firmware update available. It took 20 minutes and two phones to convince it that there is v3.3.1 until it surrendered and upgraded itself .
I will see if it makes the issue go away.
Lenovo is still pushing updates/fixes almost every month so this could be another source of problems (even if I have not seen any update in the last week or so).
In any case, when I exited Zwift app after the race earlier today and launched it again, it allowed me to connect the HR sensor. So this could be another workaround.
Sorry, I’m not sure where to address this but, I have attached screen shots of what I believe is an issue with the new update 1.73. I use Apple TV to run Zwift.
As you can see in the photos, the banner for the new cardio challenge has problems with the text being un-viewable. It is almost completely obscured. It seems to be black text on a very dark portion of the bike graphic.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I did a sanity check on my AppleTV running version 1.73.2 and was not able to reproduce the greyed-out “hero card” for Cardio Crusher.
When is the last time you power-cycled your Apple TV? It’s possible that a restart will clear that up. Here are three ways to restart the ATV box on Apple’s support site.
I checked your server log history and your latest session was done on a slightly outdated game version v 1.72.2. Please visit the App Store from your Apple TV and update the game when you’re able.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet as a worthy “phase 2” on the HUD update, however the coloured climb gradient bins on the graph are not currently detailed enough. The red section starts at 4.5% to whatever the maximum gradient is in Zwift.
Maybe it’s just me, but there is a sizable difference between 4.5% gradient and 10%, let alone 17%! For that climb graph to be visually meaningful, those higher gradients need to be differentiated please and thank-you.
Above a certain gradient the colour flashes to indicate a very steep climb. 12%+ maybe, it happens for most of the radio tower climb.
But I agree, the red seems to start at a relatively low gradient and covers a wide range.
Thank you for your response. I performed an ATV reset and checked again for an app update. (I had already been checking for any app update frequently, hoping to get the new HUD rollout).
I believe the ATV reset was the fix. The banner card for the “Cardio Crusher“ now displays accurately. And…I now have the new HUD configuration option in my game settings.
Thank you again. I hope I didn’t waste too much of your time.

With the new version… “
Introduced an improved experience for browsing Training Plans in the Home Screen” … the workout Tab has disappeared from the Plan section which contained all my tagged custom workouts… can someone tell me how I can now access my tagged workouts? I looked in the Custom section but nothing was available for searching tags…
It would be greatly appreciated to provide or reinstate this functionality in the software.
When I wrote in game I should probably have written in game in a ride. You must start a ride. I still see the ‘Browse by Tags’ option when selecting a workout from the ride screen.
