Phased rollout to iOS and tvOS begins tomorrow.
Added a new aero visual effect to Aero Lightning Socks that appears at speeds over 25 km/h or 16 mph. (The Aero Lightning Socks are unlocked after completing the Factory Tour Challenge).
For Zwifters using Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earbuds as a heart rate monitor and body temperature sensor in Zwift, body temperature is now included in your activity’s FIT file (in the core_temperature field).
To get started, in the Pairing screen, open the Heart Rate card and select your Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport earbuds, then configure the displayed metrics in Zwift Settings under the HUD tab.
Fixed a bug that could potentially cause riders to start in the wrong location on Hilly Route in Watopia.

Thank you for this! I have had no need to change from Confetti Socks because they’re of benefit to other Zwifters, and I don’t get into the power levels often to cause any effects with the Lightning Socks to make it worth it for me to wear them. I will unlock the Aero Lightning Socks this week, since I have under 8 hours of Zwifting left to achieve them assuming I hit an average of 2.0W/kg, which I will definitely do with Orange Unicorn on the list of stuff “to do”. The Aero Lightning Socks look cool, but until this effect was added, I had no incentive to wear them over Confetti Socks.
I’m guessing that the new course (Southern Coast Cruise) for ZRL’s first race next Tuesday is in this release, but disabled via a server-side switch until the rollout has completed?
Can we please fix the bike restriction during post race cooldown that was introduced recently? It still limits us to non-TT bike for standard races while there is no reason why this restriction should be in place. Even pros often hop onto a trainer with TT bike after a normal race.
I keep having hope that at one point someone at Zwift will realise that not everybody likes what they put into the game and that a ‘turn off’ option might be a good idea.
I don’t wear socks or a helmet, but then again you guys are really lucky the clothing is not optional either. Hell, you guys try moving your weight close to 100Kg you will be looking for all the Aero and weight reduction you can get !
I did a recovery noodle ride this morning and averaged 30kph. I don’t really care for the visual effect but even if I did, the trigger speed is way too low. If it’s going to exist it really needs to be 45kph+.
Or, as with most visual effects, an option to turn it off (or better yet, default to off and an option to turn it on) would be much appreciated.
