Game Update v 1.84 [February 2025]

Still no update for Android in the play store.
It offers me the version from February 11th.

Have you tried different combinations of the 2 connectors in the 3 connections on the bike? this can sometimes resolve this. I have no idea why but it’s from Wahoo support troubleshoot guide.

I have found it’s hard to keep the bike connected by BTE to a windows device, no issues on ant+. So there might be something else there that is a bug.

I wish the fullscreen would also not stretch the aspect ratio - very annoying.

This just happened again, I believe that’s 100% of the time since updating to 1.84

Agree this is super annoying.

I struggled with Full screen (on Windows) for a few weeks before I discovered the solution:
Don’t use Full Screen mode! It’s not worth the trouble, especially not if you have more than one screen. Run Zwift in a window, maximize the window on whichever screen you want. You can use other apps on the other screen at the same time; Zwift will still be running, graphics and all.
I have my task bar set to hide itself so I get a few extra lines of scenery…
Well, the power curve, at the bottom. E right Point being, you aren’t gaining much by with Full Screen mode. It’s not worth the trouble

Pro tip: [Shift] [Window key] [Arrow key] does useful stuff wrt moving and resizing windows

I did a Shimano find your fast race yesterday, v1.84, Windows PC. I noticed a single rider in the pack disappearing for a few seconds then reappearing. Sometimes they’d reappear where you’d expect, sometimes a few meters ahead. Occurred with different riders at intervals roughly between 5-10 minutes.
Only 29 participants, no ghost power up available.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar? I recorded the race so I could get some clips if required. It happened so often it just felt odd.
I’d expect it when there are > 100 riders but not for so few.

If everyone else is disappearing it usually means a network connection issue on your end.
Your speed is calculated locally based on the riders you can see, so when you drop out and they disappear you lose draft. At higher speeds the draft is significant so you can lose contact with a group very quickly.

Sorry, I don’t think I made it very clear, this was just 1 rider in the pack. Happened once, then say 5-10 minutes later it would happen again with a different rider.
Maybe still a connection issue…at their end possibly? Never had it before though.

In that case, same thing but it’s them getting the network issue.
And they may be responding by putting in some extra effort to avoid dropping behind, which is resulting in them reappearing a bit further ahead.

@Ian_Wilson_WKG
Which routes specifically are you talking about?

How did you add them to My List? I thought you could only do it via Companion and since they’re all marked as Event Only you can’t do it that way.

Here is what has happened. The new Zwift update said that the five Zwift Games routes were going to be free ride. They were so i like Ian added them to My List in Companion.

Then the routes were put back to Event Only which is what they say now.The Master Route list on Zwift Insider now says the routes are free ride which they are not.You can ride them on the Zwift Games but you can’t remove them from your My List until they are put to free ride on Companion again.

I adeed them from Routes… then filtered on Uncompleted routes… and added them from there. I think Geoff has nailed why this is the case.

Yep same here.

I did the classic route in watopia saturday, pretty surprised that the leadin was gone ??
Route started at the jarvis lap counter…

Not sure I saw this noted; confirmed or whatever they’re called riders now have a visible check on the side bar in game as shown below:

Still not entirely sure what all it means, it seems even instagram folks can get that checkmark, so … not positive what it’s for.

Bug to note:
Danger Noodle is a looping route, however the map / profile of route breaks after the first lap.

Verified is for some notable personalities but mostly pointy-end racers who’ve gone through performance verification, dual record etc

I’m running 1.84 on Android. Today, when I completed a group ride, my bike was automatically switched from my chosen S-Works Venge to the Zwift Steel frame after the ride results banner was displayed. Why? My previous ride was also on S-Works Venge, so it’s not as though there was something weird going on with overriding a choice of TT bike.

Dear Zwift, stop messing with my choice of bike frame. Thank you.
