Phased release of game version 1.84 begins today to macOS / Windows / Android devices.
Phrased release to iOS / tvOS devices begins tomorrow.
The Zwift Games introduce five new routes, featuring fast-paced sprints, challenging climbs, and an Epic finale. Riders will tackle diverse terrains across Makuri Islands, Scotland, London, and beyond, testing outright speed, strength, and endurance in the search for the win. Routes will be available for free-ride prior to the Zwift Games as part of a route chaser challenge and in the events themselves starting in March.
New badge alert: The Danger Noodle route in Watopia is now available for free ride.
Added an Elevation Display Sensitivity setting to the HUD tab in the Settings menu. The options are Normal, Low, and Off - the default is set to Normal.

Could we also get permanently on - I for one donāt mind the display and get annoyed when it suddenly disappears.
As stated at the start of the thread, and is the case for every recent release, it is rolled out incrementally, based on platform, but everyone should have it by tomorrow.
Appreciate the elevation toggle, thanks. itās the little things
I am experiencing an irritating bug. Maybe I just need to RTFM, but my controllers default to the wrong camera view whenever I click on another player and then āback to meā, or sometimes just whenever I enter an event with them connected at all. The default view is third person, and the view I end up getting is the other third person view which I think is called āThird Person (close up)ā or something along those lines. example:
iāve had this issue for a couple months, and the only way to revert back to normal is to change view again, then back to what I originally wanted which is the default third person view. 10 seconds of googling tells me that the default camera view isnāt a configurable option so I assume itās a bugā¦ this is specific to having zwift plays connected, as far as Iām aware. I havenāt tried a factory reset yet
It is specific to the plays and is triggered either by a fan view as you mentioned or by changing bikes (even from the home screen).
You can also fix it while riding by bringing up the pairing screen, un-pairing your play controllers and then repairing them. The view that it locks you in is awful. If it just brought you to the regular 3rd person view (as opposed to the slightly zoomed out play controller view) it would be ok but the up close view is TOO CLOSE
Got the update today and validated that companion app was updated.
Late joined a TdZ stage. Was in a pack with 12 and showed as being a few seconds behind them despite being in the pack. I joined 3.5km in for them, when they were on the shortcut that avoids harlem hill. When we approached the āfigure 8ā bit I went right and was on Park Perimeter until the ādistance to goā hit 0meters. There was no way to finish the ride.
Throughout the ride, positions and time to riders were broken for me and others. Eventually I took 1st as others hit the finish line, I assume I did more distance. Obviously no credit or position on Zpower.
I suspect this bug has existed a while and is related to the join being on a junction vs the main route. Could just be an update sync issue.
Couple of comments made on the Zwift Insider article on 1.84 update effecting myself and others on Android. Unable to select Danger Noodle still showing as āevent onlyā, however I am also unable to select the route for a team club event. Tair Dringfa Fechan is also showing as āevent onlyā for me, but I can select the latest new routes.
Genuine question, are zwift actually going to do any big updates soon? I mean nothing since the Jarvis updateā¦.and that is stretching the ābig update ā quite far. Big subscription update last year = small updates since. Iām not complaining about the game and value of it, so all the fans donāt need to tell me what good value it isā¦ Iām genuinely just questioning the glacial pace of updates since the price increase last year.
The September this season on Zwift was a couple minor features that werenāt really what anyone wanted (which didnāt all happen) and a bunch of events (which also didnāt all happen), maybe in April thereāll be announcements of something noteworthy to hopefully be implemented before next fall.
Based on comments from recent years, undoing the workout rounding bug a was a Herculean effort which explains why itās separately paywalled and nothing else got done
