Everyone please note.
The problem with connecting to Wi-Fi on the Kickr Bike 2 seems to have been solved.
Unfortunately, I now have the problem that when Wi-Fi is active while riding, the pedaling resistance no longer matches the selected gears and the climbing function of my Kickr Bike 2 does not work.
When I switch to ANT, I don’t have this problem.
Hi @Fritz_Gesell welcome to Zwift forums.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I’m looking at your server logs and noticed you’re pairing your Favero pedals as your Power and Cadence signals and your KICKR Bike’s resistance signal.
What happens when you pair to the KICKR Bike for all?
Very much so. I see it on a lot of routes, Volcano Flat, also.
Zwift just updated for me yesterday, after 3rd ride in New York my connection dropped and when I went to the pairing screen I saw the “connecting” behaviour you believe you addressed. I had to unplug the trainer for it to connect properly after that. SO DID YOU REALLY FIX THE ISSUE ? . Also I actually believe this behaviour occurred after you last update also, so is there something inherent in your update process which causes this to occur?? Would love to hear back.
Pls fix music menu on androids, don’t play
please be more specific, what music?
That reminds me, the title music is still controlled by the 3D World Sounds slider so even though I have the toggle for intro music to on, I don’t get those sick beats because I have 3d world sounds turned all the way down.
Hi @shooj
I have a similar problem, if I connect the Favero pedals first, I cannot connect CONTROL/RESISTANCE.
I tried to connect ALL to the Kickrbike v2, that works - and I can also change POWER to the Favero pedals.
Before two latest updates I was able to connect the Favero directly though. Would be nice if that could be fixed in coming update.
Got a reply to my email submission concerning the end-of-route glitch in NYC - installed the patch right before doing Stay Puft Pursuit, and the end-of-route glitch is still there. Extra 1/2 mile at the end. Was hoping that this’d be fixed, seeing as how the email I received stated that installing the patch should rectify the issue.

Hey Shooj, I got chatting to some Zwift execs back in June I think when they were out here in Australia promoting the Zwift ride. They talked about the companion app being the thing that sets them apart from other Virtual Experiences. The problem is, the app needs a complete overhaul. You should be able to tee up your next ride, gear and all from the app! You should be able to browse and purchase the in game content from the app too, you should be able to look up a filter friends and clubs from the app!! So just a thought here, if the Zwift Execs think of the companion app as being the actual difference for the social side and connection to the game, then why aren’t we seeing it being cared for?
He has been experiencing a very specific issue: the menu music does not play at all. The in-game/world music works perfectly while riding, but the music from the main menu is completely silent.
He has already tried all common troubleshooting steps — including reinstalling Zwift and even factory resetting the tablet — but the issue persists.
He reached out to Zwift Support previously, and they confirmed that they are aware of this problem on Android devices. However, the issue is still not resolved, and there has been no update or fix so far.
As a fan of the platform, he would really appreciate if this bug could be prioritized. It seems small, but the menu music is part of the overall Zwift experience. Also, any improvements in Android optimization would be greatly appreciated by the community, since performance on Android devices isn’t as polished as on other systems.
Thank you for your attention, and we look forward to a solution soon.
And some of us are old enough to realize that trying to set new power PRs just because a computer program said it’s time to on an otherwise casual group ride is a recipe for injuries.
Are we talking the 10 and 20 second power challenges in the purple tunnels on the new New York roads? (Thanks for the new pavement, btw! ![]()

I’ve been rejecting those – intensionally trying to put out zero watts. They are often disruptive to my goals (which usually involve keeping up with the group, but not getting zapped by the fence.
The fence is an abomination, btw. Sorry to have to point that out, but (some cowardly bullying leaders use it as a weapon – a hammer to crush riders who don’t obey. I’ll called out Kebin, a Herd leader, for pulling back the Fence and the bragging about zapping 97 riders (out of about 209, before the zap). His buddies said they had it coming.
All went fine with my Kickr Bike v2 in DirCon (RJ45) this morning. No flash and tilt working across the 125min ride I did.
I like the all-time best. It gives me something else to shoot for. I say, keep it.
Hi Shuji, I just rode the Double Parked route with the power and cadence signal from the Kickr bike and after about 25 minutes the incline failed again and the shifting didn’t work properly, the resistance was much too high.
@evan-zwift the frame drops happen right here going through the blue and white circle on the map, both directions, every time
On the home page it only shows 6 events with no option to show other upcoming events like it used to. Running on Microsft 10.
