Game update v 1.101 [November 2025]

It’s the expectation for them to make one or two improvements while making a few mild to moderate quality experience degradations along the way.

It’s why I commit monthly to Zwift, but pay annually for products like TrainingPeaks Premium which show consistent improvements along the way.

I wouldn’t want to commit to a service that potentially makes a design change that I would have to deal with for a whole year. Zwift hasn’t proven their trustworthiness in doing this when updating their software design yet.

…and for how long have you been subscribing monthly to Zwift.

I cancelled for a few months a couple of times over the last couple of years for a couple of annoying things, but mostly monthly since 2019, but I started in January 2016 - barely used it until I worked remotely starting from late 2019 onward, as I rode outside all the time. Bikes are my transportation vehicle.

Still ride outside all the time, whenever I leave home.

Hi All

Even after this latest Zwift update my avatar (free test) is still not moving. My Zwift/Wahoo setup has worked no issues in the past(2024) and I am using the free version before I buy on, however, no matter what I try, 1) Zwift loads, my 2)wahoo trainer connects via bluetooth and the 3)interface starts up, however the zwift timer timer never starts and my avatar just sits.

I’ve tried reinstalling Zwift several times over, and made sure that my win 10 laptop is update.

I’ve reinstalled Zwift several times over and still the same frustrating issue. Avatar doesn’t move eventhough Zwift reports the trainer is properly connected through bluetooth and I see my Watts, RPM and KJ numbers respond all the while the avatar and the timer on zwift never starts..

I want to make sure that this all works before I signup! Note…with other apps paired to my trainder I have no issues!

Thanks for any ideas on how I can solve this problem!

There is no free version of Zwift any more. After two weeks of use you get nothing if you don’t subscribe.

Zwift has done away with the free 25km/month for existing accounts. That’s why you’re going nowhere. For an existing account you would need to reactivate your subscription.

So for those couple of months you have saved you may as well have taken out the annual sub, save the same money but but able to use it if needed.

Going monthly manages risk since you have the option to leave without loss. I can’t imagine leaving but some people are less attached than me. Actually almost everyone is

ok…that;s not very clear at all!… It’s telling me that I still have x miles of free ride.. I rather not pay onto something for which I am not entirely sure it will work properly. If I do sign on is Zwift good at refunds? thanks very much!

If you’re within the first two weeks of use, and have never used it in the past, you should have a free trial. After that, nothing. Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

The money is irrelevant. It’s the ability to walk away from something that’s potentially frustrating, if it gets to it, without feeling obligated to use it due to prior payment for a period of time. I’m more than happy to pay a little more to support the development of something that I appreciate in the moment. But I will only make annual commitments to something that I know will benefit me for the entire year with certainty, and the risk of frustration or abandonment is relatively low. The rollup data in the TrainingPeaks website alone, even without the Virtual app, is worth that expense. Zwift is worth it if it is not annoying. The notifications of people riding in each world is getting borderline pushing it. Strava, as another example, was once useful for me, but now is never worth it for me so I don’t pay for it, and will quit using it after this year due to lacking incremental value over other things I use. The social aspects of anything aren’t enough to attract me alone, especially since I shut them off or ignore them a lot of the time.

Sign up with a different email address to make sure everything works. You’ll get the free trial 25km. Once you’re sure it’s all OK, revert to your current email address.

Are you talking specifically about the ‘repeat X times’ type of interval block, or all intervals?

This one, as seen in my screenshot. Individual standalone blocks work fine.

Thanks for the tip! I did “sign up” with another email address…however in order to have the “free trial” they want the credit card number. The free trial is good for 14 days before thet charge your card.

Many other companies make it this way. Cancel your subscription on day 14 and it’s done.

TBH - you write everything was working without issues 2024 - what are you expecting now?

His post says he used it back in 2024 so his account is not eligible for the 2 week trial

There’s enough issues being frequently reported on this forum to make folk question their compatibility/setup before committing to spending their money.

I’m increasingly convinced the end of route distance error is a global problem and not limited to any specific route.
