No. Im using Tron bike. And im not the only one with this problem. So many of my friends also have it/noticed it. And some has been here since the beginning on zwift.
It’s just weird because ever since the new visual update came out for the pace partners we all have this problem. Now i would completely understand if there was only me who’s having this issue but there are many other people as well.
And it’s weird that none has mentioned it? Or did i miss the comment about it?
Hate to keep mentioning it, but scrolling in Custom Workout sub-groups still doesn’t work. Well, if you open ANY sub-window in the Custom Workout screen, you can’t scroll in the sub-window, but can in the main window with none of the sub-groups open, or if the window shows the titles of workout categories, and as soon as you hit a sub-group, the app hits the brakes.
Click Workouts at the top.
Click ‘Custom’.
Click on a custom workout in the big button screen to open the full custom workout list.
The next screen to popup shows the custom workout you picked near the top of the list, but then try scrolling with your cursor in that (or any) list. That scrolling isn’t working, and yet DID work on the app something like 2 updates ago. (At least it doesn’t zip to the bottom of the whole list like it did after scrolling broke)
With the ATV 1.42update it says I’m connected to my trainer and heart rate monitor but there is no data, not a no signal just connected but no data. Today I tried the pair through my phone option and again it said I was connected but I actually had data using this method.
Connecting through ATV was working in 1.41 after being broken in 1.40. Seems like you’re treading water, breaking as much as you fix.
I do wish the Sterzo had adjustable sensitivity. It’s definitely the best way to steer IMHO but it does take more agressive angles than I would typically use on the road.
Also is it just me or did the calibration icon dissappear again?
Mesh networks can occasionally have issues, but then again so can non-mesh networks. Seems like he’s already connected directly to the router if his second node is swirched off.
Rebooting the router would be worthwhile if it hasn’t been tried yet.
Hi Brad,
I’ve only booted up my zwifting PC once since 1.42 was finally pushed to it late yesterday, but the Sterzo calibration icon was there (using pairing via Bluetooth). In 1.41, there were a few times that the icon didn’t appear when I was experimenting with switching between pairing via Bluetooth and bridging via Companion. Each time, when I exited Zwift and restarted, the icon returned. I hope yours comes back consistently.
And I strongly agree with you on the wish for adjustable steering sensitivity. I suspect (based on no facts, admittedly) that that’s on Elite’s side. Now that the Elite/Zwift exclusivity period for the Sterzo Smart is over, and Zwift have launched their own hardware, the prospect of having sensitivity added to the settings for the steering that will work with the Sterzo Smart in Zwift is shrinking.
How about … if a phased rollout is to catch issues with an update early, then it makes perfect sense not to roll updates out to the same people first every time.
This morning’s ride with Coco in Makuri was the worst for a while. Selected Coco from the home menu at the start. However persistently auto-turned away from the group. Thankfully, now able to teleport straight back to the RP, but as some others have commented, not intuitive from the list. Just happened to know the RP colour and route name rather than wkg which obviously fluctuates and not always lower than Yumi. Took me 1hr10mins to do 1hr 5mins in Zwift. Not a huge time waster, but irritating enough. And obviously kept losing the coffee stop timing and drops multiplier (not that I was too bothered about that aspect).
Of course, agree, both would be best.
While at it, why the instant power and not the average/target power? The instant power can fluctuate quite a bit, and you might join a relaxed bot based on w/kg just to realize it was Yumi rolling downhill, just before embarking on a grueling climb… Also applies to the home screen. (Of course now it’s easy to change )
