Find riders when just watching

+1 from me. I just rode up to the tower, now my friend is. I’d like to watch him on my phone. Another friend is Everesting… I’d like to watch him. You get the idea…

Have to agree with all the above comments. In fact, the feature is pretty useless without a search feature. Who wants to sit and watch a random person - it’s a bit weird to do so really? A friend is racing in the Worlds today and would’ve been great to watch…

Found a work around.  Log in as if you’re going to ride yourself but obviously don’t get on your bike.  When it says do you want to ride with people you know, say yes, and then say RIDE.  When the image comes up you’ll have a few seconds to click on the one you want to follow.  I mean just a few seconds.  They’ll be cycling at speed and you’ll be static and will get left behind v quickly.  I’ve watched my husband and his friends race a few times like this and it works a treat.

Zwift is great at making me forget I’m on a trainer. What it sucks at is anything that involves a user interface, or how any sane person would like to interact with it, whether it’s the main app or the mobile link.

I too use Catherine’s technique.  It’s frustrating that Zwift can get so much of the complicated stuff so right but so much of the SIMPLE stuff so wrong!
