Do they really race over 9Km of whatever portal climb is on the Watopia portal?

So race always finishes at the portal climb summit, which in video example, was ~15.3Km (a lot more than advertised 9Km, when you consider it’s extra distance uphill)?

with that climb you have to 35.6km total , up and down + i think it 1.5 laps it ends 2nd time around the banner, that how it was when i did it last i may need to look into more now.@Steve_Cl
