Hi, almost every time I’ve tried to launch the app, it will give me “Zwift enocuntered the following error: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel” How do I solve this?
Is there a network firewall in between Zwift and the Internet? Required open port numbers can be found in this document:
Thanks, I will try it. The problem starts on Apr 1st…donno if it is related as I have been using Zwift since the new year and no problem what so ever before and I didn’t change anything for my home wifi
Any chance you’re on a work/corporate pc with a root certificate installed ?
BooX
Nope, it’s not a work PC…
Hi @Eric_Tissue welcome to Zwift forums!
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I see you updated to Zwift game version 1.33.6 recently, and along with that - the Launcher app v 1.1.6.
When you updated the Launcher - did you see Windows OS prompts to install certain Microsoft components? Did you say yes to all those prompts? One of those MS components is called WebView2. This is a thing that the Launcher needs to run properly. Please re-install it from Microsoft here, and see if that clears the SSL/TLS error message?
Was talking to tech support and they recommended uninstall the whole app, delete all Zwift related folders, and reinstall the app again…it works, and they told me how copy my personal data out of the app before uninstalling too…so all my stuff are still there after the uninstall and reinstall!
