Error code Z117 at line 616 when updating to v1.123

Hey Zwift,

I cannot update from v1.123 (Windows 11)

The bug with special characters in account name has returned. In this this case the letter Ä (ASCII code 196).

Even if I change the admin account name - the folder (where Zwift installs stuff in users) will still carry the old name.

I do not want to have to change the name of the folder, thus totally re-arranging the infrastructure and having to go into the Windows registry.

Yes - I have read the support page, and yes setting up a separate admin account works, but I do not want to have to set up a separate admin account just to run Zwift.

Since this has worked fine for previous builds last 2-3 years could you perhaps fix this?

[1000324733]After the latest update i cant open Zwift anymore I get this Error Z117 at Line 616. I did everything suggested on the support page but its not working. Can you help me?

not sure that create a new account to use the first one is a good solution.

It’s not a solution. It’s a workaround so you can ride.

Also just to be clear, we’re talking about a new Windows account, not a new Zwift account. Make a Windows account that has no diacritics in the user name.
