I have a directo xr and egr mode disappeared off it a while back I thought an update of all software and hardware would fix it but I still don’t have it as an option or the calibration wrench. I have calibrated using the direto app but to no avail. I am connecting through the companion app but have tried direct Bluetooth too.
If you’ve calibrated it in the Elite app, why would you want to overwrite that calibration with a second one in Zwift? Are you able to do an ERG mode ride using the My E-Training app, with Zwift shut off? Or anything that isn’t Zwift, like a cycling computer?
I can’t see an option to use erg in the my e training app any idea where it is? I am not looking to do another calibration on Zwift just get erg working if possible.
I suspect that you’d need to pay for the myEtraining app in order to use ERG mode there.
Does it work fine on a free ride in Zwift, i.e. you can feel resistance changing with the gradient?
Hi @Steve_Hammatt just managed to get back on the trainer and test it yes it does work in terms of resistances on gradients in Zwift
Ok so that’s good news and the trainer itself seems to be fine.
Do you have the Resistance device paired in the Zwift pairing screen as well as the Power device?
And you’re pairing via Zwift Companion?
Yes correct on all those. And it worked fine up till a month or so ago. I can’t understand what would make the erg option disappear be good if someone could say technically what would cause it. Thanks Steve
