Draft from landscape?

I’ve noticed that sometimes my avatar sits up when there is nobody else around. It seems to correspond with a change in the landscape, e.g. if he’s cycling through a valley or there’s a cliff nearby in the Fuego Flats area.

I’m wondering:

  • is he sitting up because there is less wind resistance in these spots?
  • would the Draft Wagon power-up work well in these spots?

Or am I seeing something else entirely here?

Rider position will change depending on speed. I’m not aware of any draft effect from the landscape features. I can’t see how that would happen given there is no concept of wind.

I tend to sit up and enjoy the view on my IRL rides, maybe your avatar has the same mindset.
