I’d like to be able to manually disable steering on the Play controllers because they sometimes get stuck steering all the way left. Disabling steering would allow me to continue to use them without worrying about the steering errors that disrupt races or group rides.

I get that steering issues can really throw a wrench in things if they pop up unexpectedly during a ride. Appreciate you mentioning it!
I was wondering if you performed a hard reset by pressing and holding the large Z button for 30 seconds on the affected controllers. This should restart the unit completely. After the controller restarts, try turning your unit on/off.
If this is more like a feature request rather than the Zwift Play steering itself all the time, it’s welcome as community insights are valuable.
I think the ability to disable steering manually would help in any case. I don’t seem to be the only one who has run into the issue so this feature might be useful. I’ve tried the full restart but not recalibration yet.
