I signed up for Zwift (again, after having a break for a while) but my connections are not working. I can connect for Power Source, Resistance, Cadence but not controls. Need to buy a HR monitor.
Do the controls mean you can change up and down gears? I can do a ride but cannot adjust my gears so of course just spinning out really which is annoying and not useful.
Hi @Jodie_Mountford welcome to Zwift forums and welcome back to Zwift after the summer break.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Looking through your server logs from yesterday and I can verify that your Play controllers aren’t pairing to Zwift.
By any chance - have you updated the firmware on the Play controllers? Use the Zwift Companion app on your smartphone and follow these directions.
Would you let us know if that solves your pairing problem?
As Rich said - the Play controllers will not be able to effect shifts changes on your Wattbike because the Wattbike’s firmware doesn’t support virtual shifting. However, you can use the Play controllers to navigate the in-game menus, steer and brake your avatar. More information Play functionality on our Support Hub, start with this article if you please.
If you haven’t already, I would check the battery status of the shifters on your Wattbike. The Wattbike app should allow you to see how healthy the batteries are.
