Before purchasing, is Zwift Ride Kick Core 2 with Cog totally compatible with Rouvy ? Thanks.

In a word, no.

In more words, Zwift Ride will work on Rouvy (or some other app) but only an ERG mode. So no free rides, racing or other non-ERG activity that any other platform may provide.

Thanks for you answer. I understand but the goal of using Rouvy (or other app) during free rides, racing or training is to use it with ERG , isn’t it ? In that case, so you think it will work ? Thanks again.

I recommend going to one of the Rouvy user forums like their Facebook group or subreddit if you have questions about using Rouvy.

In Zwift, ERG mode is only used in structured workouts. Simulation mode is used in free rides, group rides, and races.

I definitely take Paul’s advice on this and look at Rouvy’s forums. I did look and see that there were some news that Rouvy had done some reverse engineering to make it work outside ERG but that was on Rouvy’s end not on zwift so they would know best how well it works. In the meantime here’s an article from DC rainmaker about it.
