For about the last week or two the Companion app no longer knows when I’m in a workout. It normally displays a power meter along with some other information such as RPMs and time left in the workout. The app is still showing my overall miles for the week but has no idea when I connect to a workout. Nothing has changed on my end. Same Wi-Fi. Same Apple laptop and iPhone.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I peeked through your server logs for clues. Has this been happening since mid-January? Your iPhone updated to iOS 26.2 on January 13. When Apple updates their OS, it resets Bluetooth and Local Network Device permissions back to “no.”
You can try resetting this permission in the OS settings. A simpler way to go about it is to uninstall Zwift Companion, reinstall it, then say yes to all the permissions prompts.
Also FYI - your Mac updated to macOS 26.2 on January 17. Same permissions resets happen there too, and also need to be corrected.
I’ve tried every possible solution and nothing works. I am also seeing on the zwift app that I am running on my MacBook Pro that I can only connect to my core 2 by BT as the only available option. The zwift companion app on my iPhone, under “equipment”, shows it as being connected by Wi-Fi to the companion app. This seems to be a zwift problem
I’m not sure what you did remotely but it reset my app and everything just connected including the live workouts on the Companion
I am sure nobody did anything ![]()
They have fixed it remotely for me before things werent working. They even access the log files without you even knowing (above post where he tells me when I updated my OS last).
Sure its not a coincidence that its been broke for 2 weeks and within 2 minutes of posting both issues are fixed.
I admire your optimism.
That’s because they are available on zwift servers, they aren’t remoting into your devices to read them.
Then explain how they’re reading my thoughts! How did they know I wanted to renew my membership and just go ahead and charge me?
