Companion app not showing map, but showing in Zwiters Nearby

Companion app is not showing the map when activity started (though it appears to try), but phone icon showing in Zwifters Nearby list.

I’m running the following:

iOS: 26.0

Companion 3.74.0

MacOS Tahoe: 26.0

Zwift for Mac: 1.1.14 (1) - game version 1.98.0 - Build Number 152379

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both. Insured the same credentials are used in both. Confirmed that both are on the same Wi-Fi network. Restarted my wireless router. Zwift is enabled in macOS settings, privacy and security, local network.

Would welcome any input for how to resolve this situation.

Thank you.

The phone icon makes it sound like Companion paired to the game OK, but they did recently make a change to allow iOS users to return to the Companion home screen while riding. I see a Map button down at the bottom row of the Companion app. Do you see that? I don’t do workouts so I can only say this about free rides, group rides, races.

I haven’t noticed a Map icon, but will look when I ride later. When I start the activity on my Mac, the Companion app refreshes, but doesn’t load the map. Thanks for the input.

Thank you, Paul. Sure enough there is a map button at the bottom. The map had previously always come up automatically when I started an activity. Thanks again.
