Finally getting started on my 2025 resolution to try to find a club to either join or ride with once a week. I’ve tried a few that I found by looking at the events list before I ride and I recently learned that I can see a long list of clubs on Companion. I took the time to go through almost all the clubs and noted a few that seemed like a good fit for my ability and level of fitness. The problem I am running into is that I don’t know where to find information on when those clubs have group rides. Does such a tool exist? The short description of the clubs I am interested in say that they have club rides; do some clubs have regularly scheduled rides that you have to be a member to know about? It strikes me as odd that given the number of clubs on that list, the event listing always seems to show the same high member clubs hosting public rides.
Thank you for reading through this and I will appreciate any help you can send my way,
Pack has plenty of club rides and on different times on the day. Dotn know what w/kg you look, but most of them are in a relaxed fasion and between 1.5 and 2w/kg. Active Discord if you fancy that also.
Really depends what you are looking for out of a club.
If its club that hosts a riders most days then likes of Pack, Herd, WCC, bikealicious, ZHCC, ZZRC, Galaxy, EVO are a few that come to mind
Some are purely focused on social riding others will mix in some racing. Then there is clubs like mine that are more race focused but do a have a couple social rides but will then hop into whatever other club riders suit my schedule.
Communication is also mixed some will use discord, some fb, some nothing but zwift.
I think you might be confusing club events, which are private by default and won’t show up on the public event calendar, with clubs that have events on the public event calendar.
As you can see, there are tons and tons of clubs that have been created on Zwift. The vast majority of them are not going to have events on the public events calendar. The small clubs, if they create an event, will only be visible to their club members. They will not populate on the public events calendar.
