Visibility with Club Rides

Club members want to see all other riders on the route during Club events but this doesn’t seem to be an option.

Our workaround has been to just use a meetup by a member, we make the event short and banded so everyone warms up and stays together like a real club ride. However, to do this the riders must be following the organizer and have to be manually invited by the organizer. This is a lot of manual work…

Instead, how about a “public” option that you can toggle on Club rides that shows visibility of all riders on the course.

We would also like a “short” banding option, like banded for 10 minutes then not.

Of course, keep everyone on the club ride highlighted among the masses so we can see each other.

Another great option would be to offer a specific jersey for club rides so we can see each other.

Many thanks

Ride on!

Just started doing a weekly warmup club ride myself, on super weird routes (gravel to be more specific, just for fun, since they’re not typically ridden on).

But had noticed that this isn’t an option.

I can see it being an issue for actual group rides tied to a club, and not wanting it to be enabled by accident; but for club-specific rides, would be appreciated.
Not sure if that’s the issue in particular, or just a hidden capability so it isn’t accidentally enabled on group rides.

If I recall, the super secret event settings web interface link that only works for some clubs had the ability to do this. But I don’t know if that works for anyone anymore. Would be a nice feature.

Thanks guys, appreciate the suggestions but as a FR. Does anyone from Zwift get back to us to determine if they have accepted this as a feature to be developed and relative timeline? They should have a PM on here that is gathering feature requests to include in a future release.

Clubs is a low priority. They fired the Clubs team a couple of years ago, and eventually pushed out all (?) the stuff that team had been working on–some more workouts, better Keep Together–but little/nothing has been heard about it since.
