Click V2 changes gear (lighter), on some short parts of the road

With the Click v2 on my neo 2t, the resistance automatically decreases slightly on short sections. This lasts 1 to 3 seconds, after which it returns to normal. The gear number doesn’t change, only the perceived resistance. I also see no change in wattage or gear number in the heads-up display. I don’t see any Bluetooth connection issues. This happens about twice during an hour-long ride. It’s as if the resistance definition is incorrect for some short sections of the route. Maybe I’m misreading it, but it seems to occur mainly at junctions… Could the route definition be off there? It’s not in erg mode or on changing gradients or workout mode, just cruising around with suddenly a drop in resistance…

Hi @Marc_Droog,

Thank you for posting. I am Nelson from Zwift Support.

While I did not find anything out of the ordinary when reviewing your account, I would recommend:

  • Ensure your Zwift Click V2 is not too far from the device running the Zwift app.
  • Check if the unit is showing a restart pattern LED.
  • Use a different pairing method if possible. (e.g. ZC bridge or a different Zwifting device)

If the issue persists, do not hesitate to contact us at Zwift Support for a deeper review, and we will be there for you.

I’m pairing with my mibile motorola edge 60 pro, which is resting on top of the bike stem, 15 cm from the clicks, so close enough. I have to use the phone bridge to be able to use it with Apple tv setup.. it happend today again.
