Changing screens at end of ride

Ok, So I have ridden as far as I want on one route, I hit menu, then select end ride, dump, or end and save. But what if I don’t want to leave completely? I am now right out, back to MY home screen on my pc. what if I want the main menu start up window? And in the list of riders, if I see someone I know, how can I let them know I want to talk to them?
