Bring back the exact watt goals for workouts. Stop the rounding!

Is there any way of removing the solved tag on this thread? It clearly hasn’t been solved.

Maybe the extra funding you are going to recieve from us might encourage you to finally pull your fingers out and sort this out ASAP. Its the little things or big things to some that may even sway them to stay.

Hi all,

I’ve removed the solved tag from this thread in order to avoid limiting the conversation on this issue. This is still being tracked internally as a feature request and I’ll keep adding your feedback as it comes in.

Can you say why it’s a feature request and not a known issue? In other words, it didn’t used to be this way, and then it broke.

It’s better described as a bug that was implemented intentionally. Feature request it is not.

Since this is a perfect example how not to deal with your customers:

Communication of price increases come with fix date in near future, the elimination of intentionally implemented functional bugs takes years while put in a wobbling mass of “incoming feedback”.

@Rowdy, please deliver the position of wat-995 in big @shooj’s task list and give an estimate for the solution date.

Thank you very much!

Just canceled my subscription, regretfully, at level 100, having loved Zwift and used it since 2019 continuously.

33% price increase and NOT listening to your customers is NOT OK. “Pogis” free of cost solution is working for me, at least in summer time.

Ride on!

What does continuously mean? Annual (12 months) cost in 2023 was $180. New annual membership is now $200. Thats about +11%

you still trying to bang that drum, 180 was the total when paying monthly not annually

Just my opinion, but if using Zwift continuously, it doesn’t make sense to pay monthly now that they offer annual memberships, and didn’t previous to Nov 2023.

Some folks might not be sure they want to stick with Zwift forever, and might value not being ‘locked in’ so they can decide whenever they want to move to whatever other platform. Also, some folks in warmer places might only use Zwift for a couple months a year rather than 9-10 months etc…

Whether it makes sense to pay for the yearly subscription is really up to the specific situation for the subscriber.

sure, but I was responding to someone who’d been continuously on the platform for the past 5 years. Buying an annual subscription isn’t forever, it’s for one year.

And anyone doing just 2 months a year, to stay on Zwift, and doing the monthly, is only spending an additional $10 in a given year – amortized that’s about $.19/week

Obviously, 0€ is even less than the newly presented annual subscription :innocent:

Another calculus: I supported Zwift with 1000€ over those 5+ years. That’s a lot more than zero.

What did I get for 1k€? A lot of training, a ton of fun, real quality of life! :v:

But: I also got 1.33, unstable connectivity, flashing squares over months, etc. And ignorance of Zwift staff with respect to technical bugs over years, power rounding that makes it hard for my female friends running workouts on point. Abandoned clubs feature. Faulty workout chimes and wrong workout arc colouring. Flawed group management in meetups when riding on non-cyclic routes, etc.

Most important: I don’t race, don’t use pace partners or group rides. Zwift has been a funny driver for my Kickr in ERG/workout mode in 95% of usage. MyWhoosh fully supports this basic feature, free of cost.

Depending on the (non-)progress of the Zwift competitors, I’ll rejoin the community during winter time when organizing group workouts in my company. :star_struck: That will be for 100€ which again is significantly less than the annual fee…

Another update gone by and still no mention of when this will be dealt with. It can’t be that hard and time consuming surly to sort this out. Insead on fixing a bump in the road fix somthing people have been asking to be reimplemented. This post was started 908 DAYS AGO. CRAZY

Doesn’t look like they will ever listen to their customers. Will take a look at how ICTrainer will handle things…

Looks like an affordable option you could even use alongside Zwift if you want to look at Zwift while training. Zwift’s training features don’t really seem like a high priority, in many ways.

Definitely won’t pay double for lack of features. Until Zwift won’t integrate this, my membership is canceled.

Another thing I noticed, in custom workouts, zwift is also rounding your FTP. I have a ftp of 243, 85% would be 206. But it shows 208 in the workout. 85% of 245 is 208. I was expecting the 85% interval to be 205, but it gave 210.

Even more issues with other intervals. 93% would be 227 (using the rounded FTP), which would be rounded to 230 (94%). The week after i have a increase to 95% (232), which would be rounded down to 230???

Zwift, fix yourself. How are people susposed to be able to follow weekly progressions in training.

My only option is to follow my programed 2% increase by either lowering to 92/94/96/98%. Or increasing 94/96/98/100%.

Only in a few days, we celebrate 3rd anniversary of this well documented 5W bug :tada::gift:.

It’s such a shame. They just don’t care. It’s still listed as a “feature request” but clearly a long lasting bug. It worked perfectly before but it’s gotten worse (FTP rounding as @Shawn_Vanderstam reported)

Well, seems they would like to position themselves in sporting gamification instead of a serious training platform for athletes.
