Is anyone else having issues with bluetooth pairing with 1.88 version on Windows 11?
I replaced the BT adapter, just to be sure it’s not the issue, still having same issues. Can’t discover BT devices in Zwift (Neo Bike, Technogym MyRun), or they are discovered for a short period of time, just to disappear in 2-3 minutes.
ANT+ works ok.
Pairing BT devices thru the Companion app works without issues.
Hi @Ales_Susnik, welcome back to the forums! Jose here from Zwift.
We appreciate you reporting this situation with the disconnections. Have you by any chance tried reinstalling the game to remove any components that are causing connection issues? If you haven’t, I’m sharing the steps in this article, as well as this article that tells you how to isolate Bluetooth connection issues. If the problem persists, you can contact us at support@zwift.com for further investigation.
I have managed to resolve it on Windows, but not on Mac just a few minutes ago.
What got me thinking about USB ports was, I installed Zwift on a vanilla Windows 11 laptop, with built in BT and it could pair normally to Neo Bike and Technogym MyRun.
The Windows machine has 4 USB ports + additional 8 as external USB hub.
I started investigating if that is the issue and when I plugged the BT usb dongle (TP-Link BT 4.0, very common) into one of the 2 ports on the rear of the box (it’s a stationary computer), it started to work, but not very reliably.
This led me to try the similar solution which is recommended always for ANT+ which is famously known for it’s problems, therefor I used a 2m USB extension cable and tried various USB ports (front, back, usb hub) and the BT problem resolved itself.
Neo Bike and Technogym MyRun and my Garmin Fenix 8 connections are OK now, on Windows(!)
