I have bluetooth dongle (bluetooth 4.0) and windows 10 pc (version 1909)
on zwift, it always says “bluetooth receiver is off.”
I have checked bunch of times, bluetooth dongle is fine, windows version is fine.
Only Zwift can’t recognize my bluetooth receiver. (showing yellow warning triangle)
I don’t want to use any other option (companion app is not compatible for my phone, I don’t have ANT+)
Could you help me?? Thank you.
Hi @POKSIN_Kim
Welcome to the forum,
Have you tried to use a different USB port.
Also go into windows settings for bluetooth and make sure nothing is connected to bluetooth.
I had checked, There’s nothing except dongle itself on bluetooth device.
And I tried different usb port too…
How should dongle’s driver be set? Thank you for reply
I have this same issue - I go into device manager & can see bluetooth devices but my zwift says ‘receiver is off’. I am an IT person so I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, disabling/enabling multiple times. please help!
Maybe this helps?
I cannot post urls (so annoying, just wanna post a link to another forum thread!), but Google for “vcredist_x64 zwift forum bluetooth” and look at first hit. Basically folks solved this by installing some free libraries from Microsoft (C++ runtime support libraries). Then you still have to go to Settings in Windows 10 and add the trainer as a Bluetooth device. At least this procedure worked for getting Bluetooth working with my Saris trainer with my 3yr old Thinkpad laptop.
