Yep, have said this a few times but I don’t want a laptop for Zwift…. I have my (valid) reasons for tablet being the choice here! Was just looking to cut down the time spent wading through compatibility issues with the cheaper ones…
Yeah, I had to take a bit of a gamble on my choice as I couldn’t easily find a way to compare the specs laid out by Zwift with the available tablets. Thankfully my Tab 11 works fine. For sure, there might have paid a wee bit of a premium over some of the “generic” tablets available but it was on offer and Lenovo are a decent brand.
Ik have a Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Zwift keeps crashing halfway down the run.
Old post i know, but the days of macos on Hackintosh type machines are over. Beyond MacOS sonoma or Tahoe things are impossible. No support for Intel or AMD processors.
Personally a M2 Macbook Air I find runs Zwift quite well, although it is not dedicated to that.
The excessive RAM and storage prices now make everything more difficult. Thanks damn AI…
No need to license Windows to run Zwift but a license is only like $10-15 if desired. It’ll work fine with no license.
Yeah, I didn’t mean I was going to run it as a Hack - just that I didn’t have Windows initially. I ran on that system (with Windows 10 installed) for a bit but I’ve since switched to a M1 Mac Mini and it works great. Much faster startup and load and the graphics are fine.
Yep, I find my iPad extremely convenient for running Zwift. It’s simple and just works for running the game and for connectivity to equipment. The touchscreen makes it easy to control and and easy to clean after I use it with sweaty fingers.
