I vote for this too. It’s way too cumbersome to download each .fit file individually and then upload. It’s almost 2020, this integration is not that difficult!!!
Here’s a much better way to get Zwift rides into SportTracks:
- Visit Zwift.com on a laptop or desktop computer.
- Then log into your Zwift account.
- Scroll down to your Activity list.
- At the bottom of every ride is a ↓ Download link. When you click it, a proper .FIT file for that ride is downloaded to your computer. Do that.
- Then go to SportTracks.mobi and log into your SportTracks account.
- In the top right corner, click the + Add Workout button.
- On the next screen, click the import button on the top right (it’s a smaller button with an arrow pointing down into a rectangle).
- On the next screen, click the Choose File button, then navigate to and select the .FIT file you just downloaded (my Zwift file names show up named after the date, such as 2019-12-10-22-43-35.fit).
- Lastly, click the Import button.
Your Zwift ride will now be in SportTracks with proper map and training data.
Sam,
I think you’re missing the point. You have to complete ALL those steps for EACH workout. This is cumbersome to say the least…
What would be better would be to either have an API that synchs it automatically
Next best option would be the ability to download multiple .fit files at once (a Zwift feature) and then upload in bulk to SportTracks (a SportTracks feature).
Hi Jon,
Check this out,
No, I’m with you. I want auto-sync between Zwift and SportTracks. My post with the steps was a reply to Michael Tate who posted in January how he was exporting TCX files from Strava to then load them into SportTracks. The FIT file you get from Zwift has much better data, so I wanted to show him (and others) how to do it. An auto-sync integration would be vastly superior, though.
Gerrie…Thank you…but I don’t use those other apps…the only ones I use are Garmin (which has an API with SportTracks that works well) and Zwift. Tapiriik is a connector/API that I COULD use if Zwift were supported on it (or…you could just develop your own API to SportTracks…)
But you can link Zwift to Strava (free) then use Tapiriik to send your rides to Sporttracks
Is Sporttracks on the list of AutoSync? If not, it should be. Thank. Delwyn
Please add native synchronisation to Sporttracks.mobi!
Tapiirik doesn’t seem to work properly in the last weeks…
Please add connection to SportTracks.mobi. I’m a long-time SportTracks user. 3rd party tools like Tapirik are not reliable.
Tapiriik doesn’t support syncing FIT files. Please add support for saving data to sporttracks.mobi.
