Given the first 2 big road UCI series races are in Aus. & UAE it would be super cool if you made a more desert themed world with similar climbs and geography. Should be a blend of futuristic & cartoonish - not too close to ‘real world’ like, but random kangaroos jumping over riders would be awesome! Tour de Kangaroo, and Tour de Sands/Dune/Gulf etc. would be great.
You should look for all of the other ‘you should add X’ posts. You’ll find that Zwift never acts on these. And I’m sure they won’t act on these choices, either. But, if you want to ‘ride’ in UAE, you might try MyWhoosh. It’s free, and definitely has a UAE bent to it.

I want more worlds too. Espacially all grand tours deserve an europe continent.
Tried mywhoosh, but the avatar acts more wooden like ours in zwift. furthermore their worlds tend me to get epileptic.
But the point is, that world extensions in zwift are unpredictable. Mywhoosh expands a lot faster.

Please no more boring D tier worlds, expand Watopia, Makuri and Scotland, these worlds are fun. Once I have the badges I will never return to New York, London, Paris, Innsbruck or Richmond! (Yorkshire is tolerable and France has Ventop)
And I am going to be honest if we do not get new big expansions in those 3 worldswith new routes or a custom route creator I will probably not resubscribe next year….

Innsbruck is an absolutely easy one to expand with some awesome real roads, great climbs - very little difficulty and some beautiful scenery. Some long flatter roads for the folks who like those and some challenging steep climbs for people who prefer that. You wouldn’t want Timmelsjoch? Or Kuhtai? Or the entire Haute Route Dolomites 2017 stages 1 and 2 (Innsbruck to Vipiteno)? These would be something never done before - tough, long routes. Then expand further, think Brixen/Bozen, then maybe Canazei with all the famous climbs around there, then maybe further south to Mestre (Venice). Build an enormous world over time. That becomes the European world.
Watopia only got to where it was by virtue of work. The other worlds could become like that.
Australia world would need crew cab utes driving along with folks screaming obscenities out the window and the obligatory “geroff the road”. No thanks.

The Innsbruck KOM scenery is dreadfully boring and monotonous (even more boring than Ventoux) . And I don’t want real climbs, I want to experience real climbs in the real world first, give me phantasy climbs and roads!
I agree. Sparsely populated new worlds would be a misstep. I would love to see Makuri Islands expanded with a Fuji-like climb and a big focus on Watopia. Alpe du Zwift could benefit from an additional route from the west side and flatter routes that circumnavigate the mountain. A new island off the shores of Evergreen Coast and Fuego Flats would open up a lot of new route possibilities and would be a great place for a new climb.

Watopia can be sparsely populated too, yet nobody complains about that. Sometimes also Makuri and France can be sparsely populated too. The Fuji climb is done, it’s a portal which people seem to like.
We just got a NY expansion that keeps people crowded together, now it’s time for the often requested suggested changes like the other climbs around Alpe d’huez in real life to link to ADZ or expand Innsbruck into a bigger world so it becomes another alternative to Watopia.
I did it once. Just to tick it off my list.
I don’t plan on doing the Fuji climb portal again.

The only reason many people cycle in London, New York, Innsbruck or the climb portal is to collect badges. Once I have them I have no desire to ever return to those boring worlds

but you don’t speak for everyone, so making claims that “the only reason people ride in London, New York, etc…” is just silly and you have zero evidence to support such claims.

I’m sure there are people that like London, NY but I am also sure the majority of zwifters only come there for the badges. There have been numerous reddit threads from people expressing their disappointment we got NY and not Watopia, Makuri or Scotland

Short climb portals at 50% are still a pretty good way to get XP even after they nerfed the big XP bonus on the reduced gradient options. They also show up in climb of the week for more XP, so XP is another reason to ride those other than badges. If a climb portal is about the length someone wants to ride and they want to climb then it’s not a bad option for people who are tired of just cycling the alpe over and over. I’d rather the scenery be more interesting, but people like different things.
