Apple TV says "no signal" when trying to pair device after short disconnect

I was riding with some friends on Zwift today and noticed that I had calibrated my trainer incorrectly. We therefore stopped for a short while where I disconnected my trainer and did a spindown calibration. When I wanted to reconnect the trainer Zwift only showed the “no signal” message and did not read the power output as shown in the image below. When I restarted Zwift everything worked perfectly again but this was an annoyance since I was in a no drop meetup, which I could not rejoin.

I would to supply you with a log file but I don’t know how to get it from the Apple TV.
