App not responding during FTP builder Strength workout

Hi My zwift app crashing on my computer (windows 11). It seems to work fine on on “just ride” but when i am training it crashes “not responding” and i have to shut down and lose ride. This happens everytime i do a strenght workout on FTP builder and is a bit frustrating. I have to completely close, Force end task and lose the ride. Any help appreciated.
PS laptop has good internet and just had a new ssd installed.
Johnny

is it whilst loading the training plan or whilst you are actually in the middle of the workout?

Its when im in the middle of the workout. it just freezes and i cant get it back. Ive tried running off a monitor or laptop and it doesnt seem to any difference.

Check for clues in the Windows Event Viewer. There might be something logged around the time it freezes up. Might be worth checking for Windows updates and ensure that the correct video driver is installed. Does the laptop have 8GB+ RAM installed?

Thanks, Yeah I fond a log of the system application error

“Faulting application name: ZwiftLauncher.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x6363f35b
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.22621.1194, time stamp: 0xfaa44dd0
Exception code: 0xe0434352”

no idea what that means. It happened along with a .net runtime error if that means anything to you.

Second fault recorded as
“The program ZwiftApp.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.”

Any thoughts guys. Really appreciated the help. just getting iot this and its great so id love to fix this.

This appears to be a generic .NET error so if there’s a clue here it will be in the .NET runtime error info.

You could try using the Windows .NET repair tool: Repair the .NET Framework - .NET Framework | Microsoft Learn

Have you already caught up on all the Windows updates and rebooted?

When you installed the SSD, did you clone the hard drive or do a clean install of Windows?

You also have the option of contacting Zwift support and sharing the Event Viewer data plus your Zwift log file. If you tell the chat bot that you want to email log files I think it will let you do that.
