Android Companion Network Error message [December 2024] [3.64]

Yep me too.

the solution: in FILTERS validate a modification of the filters, then reset the filters, the events will then be displayed.

Yes, the reset filter trick worked UK

Wow, thanks! I had the same issue and nothing worked until I tried this and it worked!!

Thanks much, that fixed the issue. I was going bonkers trying to figure it out: logging out then logging back in to the Companion app.

The FILTER reset does not do the trick entirely. So it is still not possible to see the runners events. I suspect there is a general problem with displaying filtered lists since the runners events tab is probably just a filtered list. This would also explain why I can’t see any events on the club events section of our club, since this is probably just a filtered list too.

Yep, agreed. Reset filters only works so far. Club events are still not presented correctly. Zwift needs to sort this.

@Thomas_Nuthmann

Thanks for your report. We’re looking into the run club events too.

The same here!

I had similar (though my events page had defaulted to opening the running events) - seems I needed to clear the filters on both the running events page (which got my CA to list running events), and again once I’d switched across to cycling events.

This seems to have allowed me to check the running events on the couple of devices I’ve got access to.

Starting on 12/5, the Companion App doesn’t display any events. When clicking on the “Events” tab, the Companion App responds with “Network Error” and “Retry” followed with an empty screen where the events would normally be displayed. I’ve tried force closing the app, rebooting the phone, 4G/5G and WiFi networks. All to no avail. I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The next step which I haven’t tried yet is to test it with another smartphone. Anyone else have this issue?

FYI for those joining the Android Network Error party I had to set a filter (as I had none previously set) then reset filters to get the fix to work.

I feel like thats related to the same issue. I have reset the filters but i am not able to see the baseline events in the menu.

I mean like this (copied screenshot from another post here)

Yep. I had the same issue. And I could see specific events if I got to them from outside links like ZP or ZRA. Resetting the filters did the trick for me.

i have reset my filters in the android app on my tablet, smartphone and in my pc browser many times. the “network issue” problem is solved, but im still not seeing the baseline camp workouts. even installed the companion app on my smartphone.

Yes same issue (Android)

Yes, the reset filters worked. Thank you, my brothers and sisters!

Android users - version 3.64.1 is available in the Play Store. This resolves the 'network error" message.
