Is this something that will fix itself after some time or is that ride just lost for me?
I just came here because I just lost a ride that I did Joined the GXY ride at 16.45 U.K. time, it logged 12km even though I rode 40km. Weird thing is I noticed that it had logged 12km while I was still in the ride.

Apparently, there was some kind of “Server Maintenance” going on this morning, 8-5 around 9am PDT and my gut busting Tour Fever Stage 5 event did not get loaded into Strava. In the Companion app, it shows as “Paris” and not Tour Fever as well as only 43.5km and not 50.0km which is when I stopped. I usually continue after the event ends in the same world so I’m not flooding Strava with extra events. This has not been a problem in the past but maybe that’s the problem?
It’s been years since Zwift lost an activity for me. I think the last time was the Cancellera TT that I busted a gut on too.
As my bug post says, my Tour Fever Stage 5 Long shows up in my Companion list as Paris and not Tour Fever so my segments aren’t going to be saved in Zpoints or Strava. Probably the same problem as these guys…
UPDATE August 5
From approximately 09:13 to 10:13 (US Pacific zone) today we discovered an incident that was preventing activities from successfully saving, and also preventing the ability to give other Zwifters Ride Ons.
- For those that are completely missing activities from that time window we are recommending they re-launch Zwift to see if it will recover in full.
- For those that have a partially uploaded activity from that window unfortunately Zwift cannot restore the missing portion on subsequent logins.
In either case, contacting our Support team if any progress is missing is the best step as we can add missing progress to a Zwifter’s account to make sure overall distance, Drops, elevation, XP, etc is not impacted

At the end of my ride, Companion wouldn’t allow me to give Ride-ons to Zwifters I follow showing the “Server maintenance please try later” screen.
I had this, also.
@Mark_Crane_TOG_G_65y @Nigel_Tufnel moved both of your reports to this thread as the ability to give Ride Ons was also impacted during this ~1 hour incident that prevented activities from saving.
If you have the .fit file you can upload it to Strava.
It’s a wee bit annoying especially as I got a PR on the KOM.
This is not showing up on Strava now as no data has been transferred over.

Restarting Zwift on my Zwift computer loaded the activity correctly. Uploading the .fit file might’ve done it too but I didn’t need to do that. The Cancellera TT a few years ago was lost by Zwift and never came back…
Activity just showed up and migrated to Strava a few minutes ago. thank you
I’m guessing that as I did another activity after the missing activity it will be irretrievable - I’m using Apple TV.
Also, during this period I wasn’t able to see the map or messages on the companion app, despite the companion showing it was connected.
