Access denied on downloading activity zip file

Hi, Im attempting to download my .fit file using the ‘compress to zip file’ option under profile/activities. the file is generated but upon clicking the download button I get an ‘access denied’ error. Any tips?

Thanks

Here’s the screenshots in case my post didn’t make sense. I’m trying to bulk load my workouts into training peaks

Hi I am having a similar problem. When I click on the ‘Download Archive’ button I get the following:

Did this a few days ago without any drams except that the link in the email had a problem with finding a site so I just clicked the Download button as above.

Seeing this post, I tried again on a different PC and no issue. I use Chrome. I also tried Edge and no issue either.

From my google search, I suspect its a browser thing but I’m not PC savvy enough to guess any further. A few things you could try:

  • use different browser
  • left click the button and save the address, open new browser and paste in address

Interestingly, I could paste that copied link into a different PC that wasnt logged into ZP and still grab the file.

Strange & thanks for that info. Im on a Mac (well, 3 Macs!) and have tried safari and chrome… I’ll see if I can get it to work on a PC… thank you

Tried a PC with chrome, Opera and MS browser… all give the same error:

Maybe its because I’m in th UK? A Brexit thing

Oh you should have said

If you figure it Kevin, please let me know. It isn’t the end of the world, but it means Training Peaks won’t get my history - so probably not my subscription either… but hey, there’s enough numbers in the game as it is!

I am having the same issue still almost two years later. Did this ever get resolved? I have tried different browsers on mac, PC, and android and all the same access denied error. Really a pain!

Do you do all your Zwift rides on a PC or a Mac? In my case I see my fit files get saved to a folder on the PC or Mac so you can try looking there as a workaround for this problem. Documents/Zwift/Activities on both my PC and Mac. On iOS there is a file icon with a little up arrow near the top right of the logon screen and that lets you select and save or email the fit files if you use an iPad or iPhone.

I have the same issue 09/2023. Is there any update please?
