10.11.1 and NVIDIA Crash

Is anyone else having trouble with crashes? Does anyone know if there is a way to update the drivers for El Capitan without waiting for Apple to release it?

I assume my mac is crashing because of the Graphics, I have some support tickets awaiting response so hopefully it gets worked out.

I annoying as I’m able to run Zwift on my old 9 year old macbook pro but not my 2 year old iMac!

I’ve not seen any official acknowledgement from Apple yet about this issue, but a google search will show a lot of games are crashing on NVIDIA after Apple pushed out their 10.11 update.

NVIDIA have released alternative 10.11.1 drivers you can try here:

Hi Jon, thanks for the prompt response.

I’ve downloaded the driver and all seems to be good. Managed to “watch” for the past 5 mins without crashing and usually it would crash at the main screen. Does seem to have slowed the computer down a bit however that may be just me thinking so.

Thanks for your help!

Hi There,

I have tried to download this fix for my Mac but it says its not compatible and any time I use my Mac, Zwift crashes.  Today I was about 18 miles in and it crashed, however it saved at the 14.4 mile mark.  The only time I can get Zwift to work the entire way through a ride is if I use my PC.  Any help to fix the issue with the Mac would be appreciated.  I’m using OSX El Capitan.

Hi Ryan, the link above was for 10.11.1, you may be on 10.11.2 in which case the driver is here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96651/en-us

Hey all, if you need drivers for 10.11.3
