Why do you say Zwift screwed these guys over? Didn’t Zwift pay James Hodges & Glenn Knight for the Zwiftpower server expenses?
Thanks for at least acknowledging the problem! I think Zwift racing is nothing without Zwiftpower; starting from finding an event/race to analyzing your race: Zwiftpower offers superior functionality compared to Zwift website / Zwift app. I hope Zwift will not underestimate the importance of Zwiftpower.
As a web developer myself, I think sooner or later you’ll realize, you’ll have to re-code most (if not all) of Zwiftpower, so I hope Zwift HQ management will realize this and assign manpower and money to this vital task ASAP.

From what I’ve seen/heard, it wasn’t a very acrimonious acquisition by Zwift. Happy to be corrected but so far no-one who really knows what happened has refuted any of the rumours/gossip.

But to me this sounds a bit like “because I have not read the rumours being refuted, I am going to spread the rumours/gossip myself”
Read it how you like but you can’t escape the fact that Zwiftpower has gone downhill since it was taken over by Zwift.

There were public posts by at least one of the founders at the time where it was pretty clear that they weren’t happy with how it went down.

I did get a reply on the tour de zwift FAQ thread that they are looking into it.
At least between @xflintx and @shooj we are getting acknowledgement and it doesn’t feel we are shouting into a vacuum. I will give the benefit of the doubt at the moment but based on how fast the GC leagues used to be set up and how quickly fit files used to be processed then I expect these to be fixed within the first week of January and certainly before the end of stage 1 tour de zwift .

Seems to have settled into a steady-state level of mid-60,000 file backlog that rises and falls in a 24hr cycle, but no sign yet of the backlog being reduced. Combined with the nightmare of the borked Zwift app update for iOS users (why wasn’t that picked up in beta? How much testing was actually done with that??) there seem to be growing signs of a downward spiral here - an inability to make changes to their code without causing more problems than they’re solving.

Their careers page seems to suggest a decent amount of investment in Quality Assurance, so would hope to lead to some improvements in release quality.

Thanks for response Flint. But I’m curious, if this is due to a site design issue why could the prior Zwiftpower management team keep up with these during peak zwift populations in January, February, March, April of 2020. This was prior to Zwift HQ taking over the Zwiftpower service?

Some of these posts have a data screen for Zwift .fit file uploads. Where do you get this data screen from? Want to spend hours agonising over where my last 2 sets of race results may be in the queue. But seriously, have spent some time looking for this data screen.
On the home page ar zwiftpower.com . Scroll down to the bottom.
Looks like the queue is really clogging up now.
We will have to deal with it for now, hope the Zwift staff has some good earned rest and can resolve this quick & painless after the holidays so we can return to normal.
Already 4 events here in the queue waiting to get processed 8-).
The Zwiftpower queue is now becoming so long, that I’m wondering if the code will still update race statistics after 4+ days… My race of 4 days ago is still not processed!
Mind you, my KISS race is up less than 30 mins after I finished it. Like the good old days. Probably because @S_ticky_KRT was in it!

I’m tired of @Ride_Cyclery complacency regarding this issue.
Seems Mr. Min is more interested in the hardware business instead of supporting the enthusiasts who made Zwift what it is.
Then they take over Zwiftpower which was working just fine the way it was…and botch it. Even during busy times like TTT days etc. you got your results ~2 hours…now its 2-3+ days…making this platform unusable if you’re trying to improve and get stronger.
I just downloaded RGT…
